Joseph T. Petrocella, Jr.

On February 21, 2012, Joe, aka "Joe Pet", passed away at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Born and raised in South Camden, Joe began working at NY Shipyard and then spent many years at Schaevitz Engineering in Camden. Afterwards, he worked for a brief time at Manhattan Supply before retiring from AMS Tools in Princeton. While at AMS, Joe was commended as salesman of the year. Joe was a 3rd degree member of the Knight of Columbus Santa Maria Council No. 1443 in Haddon Township and a 4th degree member of Bishop Eustace General Assembly. He loved bowling especially at Baker Lanes as well as golfing where he was a member of Blackwood Golf Course / Valleybrook Country Club for 51 years. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, his adoring children and his loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Joe is lovingly survived by his wife, Phyllis (nee Roberto); his children: Lorraine (Joseph) Santarlas, Dolores (Ira) Reese, Cynthia Petrocella, Thomas (Adrienne) Petrocella and Christopher (Catherine) Petrocella; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Irene Buckley and his brother, Nick Petrocelli.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Saturday morning from 8:30 - 10:30 AM at the HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 9 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 11:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 4th Avenue and Kings Highway, Haddon Heights. Interment following at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing, NJ.
